Thank you for doing this! I have been wondering how to gather enough money to buy orthodox books for my children as X-mas gifts! Our Sunday school can really use them, too! I discovered Niko Chocheli’s art at St. Vladimir Seminary and have been mesmerized by it! How captivating it would be for children to see and read this wonderful book!

  10. I have 4 children who would love to get this book under the Christmas tree this year! Thanks for doing this, Chrissi. We try to buy a few new Orthodox children’s books every Christmas to expand our children’s library. My children received a copy of Basil’s Search for Miracles under the Christmas tree last year, so if we win that one, it will go to our godson, Maximos. :)

Just listened to the podcast, how wonderful! Am considering using it during Sunday School and letting the children act out the story or simply listen to it as they draw or color.

Chrissi, I love to hear your podcasts on AFR. I think there is such a HUGE need for there to be more books that parents to buy for their children from an orthodox christian perspective. I never realized this need before, but since Alexander was born, I really have been looking because we have the chance to start him early. He loves going to church, and at seven months, I know he is still pure in heart, and can still see God. We really enjoy living here in Northcentral PA, but we really do miss our friends from St. Johns. I love your books. Keep up the great work. Whoever wins your drawing, it will be a blessing for them, and the children.

Dr. Hart, I play your recordings for my son and would love to have a copy of your book! The hard part will be deciding whether to bring it to church school for my many little ones to read and finger or to keep it for my household, for me and my little ones to treasure just as much!
